Colchagua Day Escape from Santiago - Private Tour

The Essence of the Journey
From colonial times, Colchagua formed part of the great agricultural and wine growing landscape of Chile’s central valley. Over time, that legacy matured among historic estates, vineyards, and huaso tradition, gradually shaping one of the country’s most distinguished wine regions, celebrated for the depth of its reds and for a way of life marked by quiet refinement between the Andes and the influence of the coast. To explore Colchagua today is not simply to visit wineries, but to enter a landscape where tradition, hospitality, and terroir still unfold with a distinctly Chilean elegance.
About this experience
A full day journey from Santiago into the heart of Colchagua Valley, designed for travelers who want a deeper, more curated wine experience without rushing. The day is built around three carefully selected wineries, combining exceptional landscapes, relaxed tastings, and time to enjoy the valley at the right pace. For up to four guests, the tour includes two wine tastings per person, private transportation, and a private guide who keeps everything smooth and flexible from door to door. If you’d like to add a nature forward touch, you can also opt for a horseback riding experience during the day. It pairs beautifully with Colchagua’s open scenery and can be coordinated around the winery schedule. The horseback ride is optional and its cost is not included.
